Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper and Administrative Assistant to handle collections and accounts payable functions, along with managing day-to-day office operations. This role involves ordering, mailing, receiving items, and managing check runs. The position also requires inputting sales orders and managing medical orders.

ResponsibilitiesManage collections and accounts payable functions efficiently.Handle day-to-day office operations including ordering, mailing, and receiving items.Perform check runs and ensure accuracy in financial transactions.Input sales orders and manage medical order processing.Engage in B2B collections and make necessary collection calls.Maintain accurate records using QuickBooks and Quick Base.Provide phone support and assist with office management tasks.Essential SkillsProficiency in accounting and accounts payable/receivable.Experience with reconciliation and invoicing.Ability to perform collection calls and manage collections accounts receivable.Competency in sales order entry and quick order processing.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Experience with QuickBooks and Quick Base.Additional Skills & QualificationsProven experience as a bookkeeper.Background in collections and accounts management.Familiarity with general ledger and month-end processes.Effective phone support and office management skills.Work Environment

The role is set in a professional office environment where you will utilize technologies such as QuickBooks and Quick Base for managing accounts and office operations. The position requires excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring smooth and efficient office functions.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
