Immanuel Communities is seeking a Part-time Bistro Attendant/Server/Dishwasher to work at Arboretum Village, located at 8141 Farnam Drive, Omaha, NE 68114.  Arboretum Village has 145 independent living apartment homes.

 

This position will pay up to $19.68/hour (straight pay/no tips).  Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

 

Job Duties & Skills Required

What You Will Do

Food/Beverage Preparation

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.Prepare foods such as sandwiches, pizzas and salads, if applicable. Prepare “grab & go” items such as sandwiches, salads various snack items, if applicable. Operate POS (point-of-sale) system to process orders and charge accounts, if applicable.

Safety/Sanitation

Maintain cleanliness of the  work areas throughout the day.Wash and sanitize dishes using dishwasher and by hand-washing dishes.Sanitize work areas, utensils and equipment. Ensure compliance of food safety and handling policies.

Inventory Management

Maintain inventories by ensuring supplies are replenished. Assist with ordering inventory by monitoring supplies and equipment. Notify Executive Chef of expected shortages.

Other

Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

 

 

Skills & Requirements

Two (2) years of food service experience in a casual dining environment or related experience is required.

High School Diploma/GED is required.
