Part-Time Bilingual (Spanish) Receptionist
Description We're seeking an organized, personable, and detail-oriented Part-Time Bilingual (Spanish) Receptionist/Office Administrator with data entry experience. This role is crucial in providing a welcoming environment for patients and ensuring that the administrative side of the practice runs smoothly. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish, possess excellent communication skills, and have experience with clerical duties, including data entry. The schedule for this role is Monday-Wednesday, 18 hours a week. Requirements Key Responsibilities: + Patient Reception: Greet patients warmly as they arrive, check them in, and notify the appropriate team members. Answer incoming phone calls, schedule appointments, and respond to inquiries about dental services in both English and Spanish. + Bilingual Communication: Clearly communicate information, including appointment details, instructions, and policy updates, in English and Spanish. + Appointment Scheduling: Use the office's scheduling software to manage patient appointments efficiently and minimize wait times. + Data Entry & Records Management: Maintain accurate patient records by entering and updating contact details, insurance information, and treatment notes in the office database. Ensure that all data is secure and complies with HIPAA regulations. + Insurance Coordination: Assist with verifying patient insurance information, processing claims, and recording payments. + General Office Administration: Organize and maintain a clean, professional reception area. Perform clerical and administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and managing office supplies. + Patient Support: Provide an excellent patient experience by addressing questions, concerns, and feedback promptly and compassionately. Required Qualifications: + Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (spoken and written). + Previous experience working in a dental, healthcare, or administrative office environment. + Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook) and familiarity with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Open Dental, or Eaglesoft) is a plus. + Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills. + Professional and friendly demeanor with strong interpersonal skills. + Understanding of patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
