Provide assistance to a team of technicians servicing a global conferencing and broadcast environment. Location: NYC Mid-Town based at Hudson Yards Pay Rate: $50-55/hour Timeframe: Sept. 22 - Oct. 24 Schedule: 40 hours/week, 8 hours/day **Duties & Responsibilities** + Manage and execute AV operations onsite for internal events and rental events, supporting over 1,400 in-person meetings and 400 virtual events annually.  + Coordinate audio and video recording, livestream, microphone setup, breakdown, testing, setting audio levels, setting appropriate stage and room lighting, testing video and audio feed for press and any other event related AV needs, including events with a virtual component. + Oversee multimedia production for events, including post-event editing and uploading. + Manage studio operations for podcast recordings, live news hits, and video shoots.  **Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with Biamp, Crestron and Polycom equipment as well as virtual meeting platforms. + Experience running sound via Dante and Behringer x32 hardware. + Experience running PTZ cameras and switching sources via Blackmagic hardware for live meetings as well as managing virtual components. + Experience with live broadcast including streaming and TV/radio interviews, working with outside press. + Strong customer service skills with a high level of professionalism. + Very strong written and oral communication skills, good judgment and discretion + Ability to remain calm under pressure and work within tight, shifting deadlines. + The duties of this position require the ability to bend, kneel, crawl, climb ladders and to stand for long periods of time + Candidate must be capable of working at heights and have good balance + Candidate may be required to lift heavy equipment up to 50 pounds + Adverse conditions may include noise and dust **Education & Experience** + Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Audio/Electronic Engineering or related field preferred; or Technical school training with electronics training and related experience + AVIXA CTS certification preferred + 3+ years of experience with the setup, operation and troubleshooting of conference rooms, auditoriums, theater, hotels and/or broadcast environment **To Apply** Use the link at the bottom of this page to apply.
