What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.Monitor entrances, exits, and access points, verifying identification and credentials as required by site protocols.Communicate and coordinate with Allied Universal management, local law enforcement, and emergency services as needed.Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in detailed written reports according to Allied Universal and client protocols.Remain alert and attentive while on duty, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related concerns within the location.Operate security-related technology and equipment as required for the post, including surveillance systems and communication devices.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience.CPR certification is preferred.An armed guard card or license is preferred.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
