Job Description Pay is $50 per hourThis is a part-time position, hours will varyMust have previous law enforcement and EMT experienceOur risk and consulting group, under Allied Universal® Enhanced Protection Services, is hiring an Armed EMT or RN Security Operative. The Armed EMT or RN Security Operative will conduct armed foot patrol (interior and exterior). Additional duties include responding to emergency incidents, composing reports, and deterring criminal activity and misconduct.
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activitiesRespond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving mannerConduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.Intercede, escort, or assist in escorting, persons as neededObserve and report inappropriate or suspicious behavior and/or materials/objects to the clientCommunicate and/or document any irregular security-related or safety-related incidentsMinimum Requirements:
Have a minimum of 5 years police experience with a city, state, government, or municipalityPossess 20 college credits from a police academy or equivalent.Possess a valid EMT certificate or registered nursing licenseAs a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Have a valid security and concealed weapon licenseLicensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and are required prior to employment.Preferred Qualifications:
