Part-Time Advanced Practice Provider/Ultrasonographer

This position requires collaborating with physicians, other medical providers, and patients by providing expert care and service for fertility treatments.

We are seeking a part-time APP/Ultrasonographer to join our Cary, North Carolina team. The schedule will be based on practice needs with flexibility for part-time hours. Weekend and holiday rotations may apply.

How You'll Contribute:

We always do whatever it takes, even if it isn’t specifically our “job.” In general, the APP/Ultrasonographer is responsible for:

Performing transvaginal and abdominal ultrasounds to monitor fertility treatment cycles

Providing expert clinical assessments and collaborating with physicians on patient care plans

Educating patients about treatment protocols, procedures, and results in a compassionate and professional manner

Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests as appropriate

Documenting findings and maintaining accurate electronic medical records

Supporting procedures including intrauterine inseminations (IUI), egg retrievals, and embryo transfers as applicable to scope of practice

Delivering patient-centered care with sensitivity to emotional needs during the fertility journey

What You'll Bring:

The skills and education we need are:

Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license OR ARDMS certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (OB/GYN specialty strongly preferred)

Current BLS certification

Minimum 2 years of women’s health, reproductive endocrinology, or related ultrasound/clinical experience

Strong technical proficiency in performing and interpreting gynecologic and obstetric ultrasounds

Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and patient education skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Computer literacy with EMR systems
