Part Time Administrator
Job Title: Part-Time Administrative AssistantJob Description This part-time Administrative Assistant role provides front-office and administrative support in a manufacturing facility. The role combines reception, office coordination, light inventory support, and basic administrative tasks, with opportunities to take on additional responsibilities based on experience and interest. Responsibilities + Answer incoming phone calls and direct them appropriately. + Greet visitors, vendors, and truck drivers in a professional and welcoming manner. + Open and manage front office access for employees, vendors, and truck drivers. + Coordinate and organize monthly onsite meetings, including ordering lunches, managing vendors, and overseeing deliveries. + Order and replenish office, breakroom, and facility supplies to ensure adequate stock. + Assist with basic order entry and data input into computer systems. + Support light inventory activities, including inventory entry and picking tasks as needed. + Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front-office environment. + Provide general clerical and administrative support to various functions, with the potential to assist with light accounting or inventory-related tasks. + Collaborate with internal teams to support administrative, inventory, and basic accounting functions as needed. Essential Skills + Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative assistant, receptionist, or office support role. + Comfort working onsite in a manufacturing or operations-adjacent environment. + Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel. + General proficiency with computer systems and standard office software. + Strong administrative support and clerical skills. + Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor when interacting with employees, vendors, and visitors. + Ability to work independently in a steady, slower-paced environment while remaining reliable and attentive to details. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience working in a manufacturing environment, especially within chemicals or other regulated industries. + Prior inventory experience, including inventory entry, reconciliation, or picking tasks. + Exposure to accounting support activities such as basic data entry or invoice processing. + Familiarity with inventory reconciliation processes and order processing systems. + Comfort supporting multiple functions, including administration, inventory, and light accounting duties. + Strong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate onsite meetings and vendor deliveries. + Interest in taking on additional responsibilities as needed to support the team. Work Environment This is an onsite, part-time position in a manufacturing facility, working approximately 25 hours per week, Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The environment is very steady and slower paced, offering a predictable morning-only schedule and a relaxed, supportive atmosphere. The role is based in a front-office setting that connects closely with operations, vendors, and truck drivers. Occasionally, there may be preplanned days where additional hours are needed to support onsite lunches or meetings.
