Part-Time Administrative Assistant
Description We are looking for a skilled Part-Time Administrative Assistant to join our team on a contract basis located in the Greater Philadelphia Region. The ideal Part-Time Administrative Assistant candidate will bring expertise in personal injury litigation, legal documentation, and scheduling to support a busy legal office. This position requires proficiency in legal systems and tools, with a focus on maintaining seamless operations in a detail-oriented environment. What you get to do every single day: • Prepare, edit, and manage legal documents with precision and attention to detail. • Coordinate and manage litigation schedules, including calendaring deadlines and court appearances. • Handle electronic filing (e-filing) of legal documents with courts and other entities. • Maintain and update case files using case management software. • Assist in briefing and billing tasks to support the legal team. • Manage client communications and maintain strong, detail-oriented relationships. • Utilize tools such as Aderant and Adobe Acrobat to perform legal administrative tasks efficiently. • Organize and maintain calendars to ensure timely scheduling of meetings and deadlines. • Oversee the use of Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS) for legal filings. • Provide administrative support to attorneys, including document preparation and correspondence. Requirements Other requirements for the Part-Time Administrative Assistant position include and are not limited to: • Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant, preferably in personal injury litigation. • Proficiency in legal software such as Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, and case management tools. • Familiarity with e-filing processes and calendaring systems. • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Knowledge of billing functions and client relations. • Experience with Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS) is preferred. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
