The purpose of this position is to perform duties in the front office such as checking in guests, handling forms of payment, assisting customers, and completing office paperwork. It will also help maintain the cleanliness of park buildings and rental facilities as well as the grounds. Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: No experience or training required. Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties: + Collects applicable fees from visitors and processes reservations. + Operates office equipment and computer programs. + Provides a high level of customer service and assists customers with inquiries. + Process office paperwork and reports. + Performs custodial duties necessary to maintain clean and sanitary conditions of park facilities. + Assists with maintaining park grounds such as mowing grass, collecting litter, and emptying trash receptacles. Position-Specific Details: Location: Lake Bruin State Park, in St. Joseph, LA Work Schedule: State Parks are open 365 days a year. Position will work a rotating schedule of 40 hours/week, that can include holidays and/or weekends as needed, to ensure coverage at the park. Career Progression: This position may be filled as a Park Technician A, B, or C. Travel: Position requires driving around the park as part of the daily shift.
