Job Summary and Responsibilities
All employees are expected to perform their duties in alignment with the vision and values of the organization. This position is responsible for providing support to families involved in the child welfare or probation systems of care. Acts as an advocate for the family in all aspects of the Wraparound process. The Parent Partner provides in-home services and assists families in accessing needed community resources. Interfaces professionally with DCFS, DMH, court systems, schools and other community liaisons.
Job Requirements
A minimum of one-year experience in community outreach and advocacy work preferred.High School equivalency preferred.Past consumer of DMH, DCFS, Probation, Regional Center or similar services, successfully transitioned to self-sufficiency.Bilingual English Spanish language skills requiredFamiliarity with utilizing a PC and basic computing programs.A valid California driver's license, use of a car, and certificate of insurance.Where You'll Work
Founded in 1887, Dignity Health - California Hospital Medical Center is a 318-bed, acute care, nonprofit hospital located in downtown Los Angeles, California.
