The parent liaison implements and manages school-wide parenting initiatives and activities to empower parents to become positive active participants in the education of their children in alignment to the school goals. Supports the principal and school leadership in documentation of parental involvement. This position reports to the Principal or designee.

Bachelor’s degree or 2 years equivalent experience in Community Outreach, Community Relations (equivalent experience is included in total years of professional experience). Some evening student recruitment and/or evening meetings; occasionally working on Saturday and/or Sunday. Bilingual in English & Spanish is a plus, but not required. Skilled in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) or other specific technology. Ability to travel in performance of job duties is required. Ability to lift, carry, push, pull objects weighing up to 10 pounds of force (almost all office jobs).
