Job Description
A client of Insight Global is seeking a Paraprofessional IV to support instructional staff in delivering educational services to students, particularly those with disabilities. The role involves assisting with classroom activities, implementing IEPs, supporting life-skills development, and maintaining a safe and respectful learning environment. Responsibilities include tutoring, monitoring attendance, supporting behavioral plans, and facilitating communication between school and families. The position requires strong interpersonal skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to work independently under teacher supervision. Duties may also include assisting with hygiene, feeding, and mobility tasks, as well as participating in community-based instruction and field trips.

Skills and Requirements
Must Haves:
High School Diploma or GED
One of the following:
Associate’s degree or higher
At least 48 credit hours from an institution of higher education
If no education than need a passing score on the Para Pro Assessment
Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality (FRPA compliance)
Ability to assist with IEP implementation and instructional tasks
Ability to work with children, teachers, and families respectfully and productively
Technical skills for classroom instruction and documentation
Ability to supervise students with proper training
Ability to assist with life-skills and self-care activities (toileting)
Ability to work independently and cooperatively with staff and families Experience with behavioral and physical care plans
Ability to act as a translator
Familiarity with educational software and documentation tools
Experience in crisis intervention and student behavior management
Ability to assist in community-based instruction and field trips
