Job Title: Paralegal III
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Paralegal 3 to join our legal team. The role will involve supporting a broad range of legal issues, triaging client questions, and drafting responses as subject-matter familiarity grows. You will be contributing to new processes and technology rollouts, supporting legal escalations, and working with AI for categorization and content creation.
Responsibilities
Prepare legal documents including briefs, pleadings, appeals, wills, contracts, and real estate closing statements.Draft affidavits and other documents, maintain document files, and file pleadings with court clerks.Gather and analyze research data such as statutes, decisions, legal articles, codes, and documents.Investigate facts and laws of cases to determine causes of action and to prepare cases.Essential Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Attention to detail and strong customer service and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Basic knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, and government regulations.Previous experience with computer applications such as Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Associate's degree in paralegal studies with a certificate in paralegal studies.Minimum 4-5+ years of experience with legal research tools and document/case management systems.Minimum 4+ years of experience in drafting and reviewing legal documents with accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards.Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and additional case management software.4+ years of relevant experience in-house, with a legal service provider, or at a law firm.4+ years of experience in a technology industry environment.Work Environment
This is a fully remote position, although candidates located in the Seattle area are preferred. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. The role requires working Pacific Time hours. Equipment such as a standard laptop will be provided by the supplier.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $33.00 - $36.00/hr.
