Job Description
Provide timely and effective legal support to attorneys while modeling and acting in accordance with guiding principles. This role requires 3-5 years of experience.
ResponsibilitiesSupport attorneys and paralegals with legal holds and document collection.Draft basic templates and manage file systems.Provide administrative support including filing, calendaring, and scheduling.Handle overflow and ad hoc support as needed.Review emails and schedule calls among attorneys and clients.Connect with internal partners for document collection.Conduct investigations and initial case evaluations, with the ability to dig deep and summarize findings.Primarily work with computers and phone for communication.Participate in light meetings, with a focus on individual work.Essential Skills3-5 years of relevant experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.Experience as an administrative support or in business needs such as filing, calendaring, and scheduling.Prior paralegal experience is required.Strong attention to detail and communication skills, both written and verbal.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.Experience with litigation, legal assistance, and legal document handling.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Smartsheet and Wolter’s Kluwer (Office Companion) is highly desired.An associate degree is required, and a paralegal certification is very nice to have.Work Environment

This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
