Job Description
This role involves installing electrical wiring and assembling components according to blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics. While procedures and methods are typically prescribed, you may need to plan the layout. The position requires adjusting, fitting, and aligning large or complex units to meet inspection standards. Responsibilities include mounting motor/generator sets in housings or on bases, installing lubrication systems, and completing wiring as needed. Compliance with Electrostatic Discharge procedures is essential. A soldering certification may be required, and eight thousand hours of experience are necessary to develop the required skills and techniques, as well as knowledge of designs, materials, equipment, methods, and procedures.
