Job Title: Tower Sealer Palletizer Operator

Job Description

The Tower Sealer Palletizer works in the Cheese department, rotating between three workstations: bagging finished cheese blocks, sealing the cheese package, and palletizing the finished product.

Responsibilities

Follow all corporate and regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.Operate a forklift to move cheese from the production area to the warehouse cooler.Run Beta Vac and bag sealer ensuring no leaks.Weigh blocks and place label tickets on blocks and boxes.Operate and validate the metal detector.Operate the boxer and robotic systems.Manage tower operations.Maintain operating records such as block counts.Perform necessary routine cleaning and preventive maintenance.Master sanitation procedures as needed.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in packaging and lifting.Ability to read work orders in English.Team player with experience in production, general labor, packing, loading, stacking, and palletizing.Basic computer skills to document work orders.Mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
