Job description

Infosys is looking for Palantir Lead Developer with deep expertise in Palantir Data Foundry, Ontology and Python, TypeScript and PySpark knowledge.

Required Qualifications: Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Rosemead, CA or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the USBachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of educationAt least 4 years of Information Technology experience Expertise in Palantir Data Foundry, Ontology and Python knowledge.Proficient with Transform API within FoundryProficient with batch, real time use case realization in foundry using Pipeline builderProficient with setting up source syncs, health checks and data expectationsMust have Implementation experience with objects, links, actions, and functions in the OntologyMust have Ability to structure and relate data using the Object Data Layer.Hands on Knowledge on Foundry’s Ontology and data structuresBuild powerful applications by weaving together objects, links, and actionsUnderstanding of layout principles and user experience to ensure applications are intuitive and visually appealingAbility to design dynamic and interactive workflows, leveraging Workshop’s events system and layoutsImplementing complex logic using custom Functions (e.g., Python, TypeScript) within Workshop widgets. Typescript knowledge must requireRecommend solutions to improve new and existing application solutions.Offer support by responding to system problems in a timely manner.Guidance to developers in preparing functional/technical specs to define reporting requirement and ETL process.Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Preferred Qualifications: Utilities domain experience (Transmission & Distribution)Possessing Palantir Foundry Data Engineer Certification is a plusApplication development on the FoundryExperience working in Agile environmentsExperience in project development lifecycle activities and maintenance/support.Ability to translate requirements into technical solutions meeting quality standards.Strong communication, problem-solving and analytical abilities.Experience in global delivery environments.Commitment to staying current with industry trends in modern data warehousing.The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
