Position: Industrial Painter/Prepper
Location: Orillia, ON
Pay Rate: $20/hour (to be reviewed after 3 months)

Job Overview:
We’re seeking a skilled Industrial or Automotive Painter/Prepper to join our client’s team in Orillia. This role requires hands-on experience in an industrial or automotive setting, including work in a downdraft spray booth and with air-assisted breathing equipment. Residential painting experience does not qualify.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces for painting (sanding, masking, cleaning)

Mix and apply paints or coatings

Operate spray guns in a downdraft booth

Adhere to safety protocols, including the use of air-assisted breathing systems

Inspect painted products to ensure quality standards are met

Requirements:

Prior experience in industrial or automotive painting (non-residential)

Proficiency with downdraft booths and spray equipment

Comfortable using PPE and air-assisted breathing systems

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
