**Painter Helper** **Job Description** Join our team as a Painter Helper and contribute to the manufacturing of diamond blades and core bits used in the construction, stone, and mining industries. These products are essential for cutting and grinding various surfaces such as brick, mortar, concrete, granite, engineered stone, tile, and glass. As a Painter Helper, you will assist in the painting process, ensuring high-quality finishes on our products. **Responsibilities** + Paint parts and cover molds as specified. + Read job orders to determine the required paint colors for blades. + Mix paint using acetone and water, determining the number of colors needed. + Use a spray gun to paint the blades. + Read, understand, and perform duties based on training, standard operating procedures, work instructions, and job orders. + Inspect materials being produced or packed and perform required tests as defined in standard operating procedures. + Communicate effectively and report any problems to the supervisor. + Meet production goals in a timely manner, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork. + Perform inspections of materials being produced as defined in standard operating procedures. **Essential Skills** + Ability to adhere to strict PPE guidelines (gloves, safety glasses, steel-toed boots). + 1+ year of production or construction experience. + Understanding of painting, paint preparation, and use of industrial spray guns. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in industrial painting or construction is a plus. + Willingness to work with paint and acetone. + Comfortable working in a paint booth environment. **Why Work Here?** Join a workplace where your hard work is recognized and rewarded with opportunities for permanent employment. The role requires flexibility to work the 2nd shift from 4 pm to 12:30 am, Monday through Friday, with the possibility of overtime. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, CA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
