Ōnin Staffing is now hiring a Painter Helper in Clayton, NC!

Pay Rate: $16.50–$17.50/hr (Depending on Experience)Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:45 PM (Friday Overtime as needed)

Onin is looking for a Painter Helper to support one of our clients' high-quality painting operations. This hands-on role includes preparing and painting steel components, sub-assemblies, and finished products to meet stringent specifications. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with opportunities to grow your skills.

Responsibilities include:

Assist in preparing materials and components for paintingSupport proper operation and maintenance of paint equipment and spray boothsSafely maneuver materials using cranes and forklifts (training provided if necessary)Help mix and apply paint under supervisionTrack paint and solvent usage for production recordsSupport EPA-compliant waste disposal practicesWork collaboratively with the team to maintain production schedules


Work Experience

Preferred qualifications:

Experience in a manufacturing or industrial settingFamiliarity with paint preparation processes: sandblasting, grinding, buffingPrior exposure to overhead cranes, forklifts, and PPE (respirators, gloves, etc.)Basic knowledge of MIL-Spec paint standards is a plus
Work Environment & Physical Demands:Manufacturing/production environmentMust be able to lift up to 50 lbsStanding, bending, and manual work required throughout the shiftPPE required; respirator use may be part of daily tasks
