Job Title: Painter & Decorator – Mould Treatment Specialist
Rate of Pay: £15.83 per hour

Hours: 39 hours per week
Location: Sheffield, UK (covering local contracts)
Are you an experienced Painter and Decorator with a keen eye for detail and a passion for improving living environments? We're looking for a skilled professional to join our team working on mould treatment and painting projects across the Sheffield area.
This is a permanent, full-time role with a well-established company, offering great rates of pay and long-term security.
What You'll Be Doing:Working on both occupied and void properties, your role will focus on the treatment of mould and damp-affected areas followed by high-quality painting and finishing. Tasks include:
Treating and preparing surfaces affected by mould and damp
Carrying out internal and external painting and decorating
Repairing and preparing walls, ceilings, and woodwork prior to treatment
Using specialist mould-resistant coatings and finishes
Ensuring work is completed to a high standard with minimal disruption to residents
Erecting access equipment safely (training provided)
Monitoring materials stock and requesting supplies when needed
You'll also liaise with tenants, clients, and site managers, providing excellent customer service and keeping accurate records of completed work and materials used.
What We're Looking For:Experience: At least 5 years of checkable experience in painting and decorating
Specialism: Experience or knowledge of mould/damp treatment preferred (training can be provided)
Qualifications: Ideally a recognised trade qualification or completed apprenticeship
Skills: Reliable, organised, and able to work independently with a strong focus on quality
Driving Licence: Preferred but not essential
