Founded in 1906, McLeod Health is a locally owned and managed, not for profit organization supported by the strength of more than 900 members on its medical staff and more than 2,900 licensed nurses. McLeod Health is also composed of approximately 15,000 team members and more than 90 physician practices throughout its 18-county service area. With seven hospitals, McLeod Health operates three Health and Fitness Centers, a Sports Medicine and Outpatient Rehabilitation Center, Hospice and Home Health Services. The system currently has 988 licensed beds, including Hospice and Behavioral Health. The hospitals within McLeod Health include: McLeod Regional Medical Center, McLeod Health Dillon, McLeod Health Loris, McLeod Health Seacoast, McLeod Health Cheraw, McLeod Health Clarendon and McLeod Behavioral Health.  

Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, and applying primer. Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results. Apply paint, varnish, stain, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers. Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect adjacent areas. Inspect painted surfaces for uniformity and touch up as needed. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Familiar with infection control and safety procedures and wear protective gear. Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time.

Maintain clean and organized workspaces.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Proven 2 years minimum experience as a painter in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and tools. Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions. Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity. Good physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures. At least 23 years of age due to insurance requirements (driving company vehicles) Must have a valid driver's license  Preferred Skills: Certification in painting or related trade. Experience with drywall repair and surface finishing. Ability to read blueprints or work orders.
