Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter and Polisher to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint finishes and polishing surfaces to the highest standards of quality and precision. You will work on a variety of projects, ensuring that all surfaces are properly prepared, finished, and inspected to meet our exacting specifications. This position offers the opportunity to showcase your craftsmanship and contribute to the completion of high-quality projects in a professional environment.

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming materials including metal, wood, and composite surfacesApply paint coatings using various techniques including brushing, rolling, and spray application methodsPerform polishing and finishing work to achieve desired surface quality and appearanceInspect completed work to ensure adherence to quality standards and project specificationsMaintain and operate painting and polishing equipment safely and efficientlyMix paint colors and match existing finishes to ensure color consistency across projectsFollow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environmentCommunicate with supervisors and team members regarding project progress and any issues encounteredDocument work completed and maintain accurate records of materials usedComply with all local regulations and safety standards applicable in Dubai, UAE

Qualifications

 

Proven experience as a Painter and Polisher or in a similar finishing trade roleProficiency in surface preparation techniques including sanding, cleaning, and primingStrong knowledge of various paint types, finishes, and polishing compoundsAbility to operate painting equipment such as spray guns, sanders, and polishing machinesExcellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipPhysical ability to perform repetitive tasks and work at heights when necessaryStrong organizational and time management skills with ability to meet project deadlinesKnowledge of safety standards and protocols in the construction and manufacturing industriesAbility to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
