Leidos is seeking a Painter to support our Intelligence Community customer in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment. This role will be based on-site and will contribute to a variety of Facilities Operations & Maintenance (O&M) construction projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in commercial painting, general construction, and light renovation, and will be comfortable working with minimal supervision across a wide range of projects. This role requires a strong team-oriented mindset, the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, and a consistent focus on quality and safety.

 Primary Responsibilities:

Paint and prep commercial office spaces with minimal supervisionInterpret and work from basic schematics and diagramsPerform general carpentry work including framing, drywall installation, finishing, and patchingRemove and install carpet and cove baseUse hand and power tools for facility renovation, repair, and constructionEnsure compliance with applicable building codes, safety regulations, and company policiesExecute rapid and reliable response to abnormal facility operations and emergency repairsPerform physically demanding tasks including standing for long periods, bending, climbing, kneeling, and reaching overheadAssist with other duties as required in support of facilities operations

Basic Qualifications

TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance is required2–4 years of relevant experience in facilities coordination, facility maintenance, or building operations.Basic understanding of facility management principles, including space planning, routine maintenance, and building systems.Familiarity with facilities operations and upkeep tasks, including HVAC, plumbing, and general maintenance.Working knowledge of safety standards and building codes.Experience in commercial and/or industrial construction or facility maintenanceAbility to work independently and follow written and verbal instructionsKnowledge of safety procedures and practices in construction environmentsValid First Aid/CPR certificationExcellent attention to detail and time managementAbility to lift and move up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

Possession of a Master or Journeyman Electrical License.Additional certifications in painting, drywall, or general constructionExperience working in a secure or classified environmentFamiliarity with government facility standards and O&M protocolsOSHA 10/30-hour certificationExperience working on multi-trade teams in support of large-scale renovations
