**Job Title: Painter** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team, responsible for overseeing and executing the powder coating process in a paint booth. The ideal candidate will ensure that all parts are correctly prepared, painted, and meet the required specifications while maintaining an efficient and organized workspace. **Responsibilities** + Review incoming jobs to determine workload and stage the work accordingly. + Oversee the prep process to ensure parts are being masked correctly according to the drawing. + Maintain proper chemical concentration in the wash system. + Maintain correct settings on powder coat booth to ensure adherence to our process. + Verify conformance of finished parts to ensure they meet specifications and are issued to the correct job. + Perform routine quality checks on each team member. + Perform daily maintenance duties and notify the supervisor of any equipment-related issues that may require attention. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in painting, paint preparation, and using a spray gun. + Experience with masking, powder coating, and coating processes. + Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine proper masking and hanging of parts. + Skilled in troubleshooting and adjusting to ensure quality powder coating. + Knowledgeable in the proper wash and cure steps of the powder coat process. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
