**Job Title: Painter** **Job Description** Join our team for a 6-month assignment to paint newly installed conveyors at a distribution center. This role requires a commitment to safety and attention to detail. The workday typically starts at 7 am and consists of 8-hour days with occasional overtime as needed to meet deadlines. **Responsibilities** + Paint newly installed conveyors and ensure high-quality finishes. + Work closely behind welders to complete painting tasks. + Adhere to safety standards and guidelines at all times. + Utilize hand tools and power tools for painting activities. + Measure and mix paint accurately using basic math skills. + Apply lean manufacturing practices to enhance efficiency in the workspace. **Essential Skills** + Experience in painting industrial equipment and structures. + Proficiency in using hand and power tools relevant to painting. + Strong attention to detail. + Basic math skills for paint mixing and measurement. + Mechanical knowledge to understand equipment functionality. + Understanding of lean manufacturing practices. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + OSHA 10 certification is required. + Ability to bend and reach low places for painting tasks. + Experience with spray gun painting is a plus. **Why Work Here?** This opportunity offers the potential for future assignments and involvement in expanding business operations in the area.
