Johnson Service Group (JSG) is actively seeking Aircraft Painters for a contract assignment in Dallas TX. 
  Job Description  Apply safety absorbent to hangar floor and spray aircraft surface with stripper to remove all paint Assist with moving aircraft to appropriate bay Mask, unmask, and re-mask appropriate areas of aircraft surface to ensure complete protection of windows and other areas susceptible to damage Remove stripper, excess paint, and/or contaminants using water, solvents, air blower, and/or brushes  Sand, grind, and buff polished areas of aircraft surface, apply putty to body dents, and replace sealer in preparation for the application of primer and paint Apply Alodine to aircraft surface using spray equipment Application of primers to aircraft surface Painting parts, components, and/or aircraft surface Checking for imperfections after painting and striping application using discrepancy sheet and documented squawks and perform touch-up work as required Document work performed per Inspection Procedures Manual (IPM) Apply base coat of paint, stripes, decals, and vinyl appliques to aircraft surface Requirements: 3 years of experience, which must include preparation and painting aircraft or equivalent Read and interpret engineering documents, customer instructions, and maintenance manuals JSG offers medical, dental, vision, life insurance options, short-term disability, 401(k), weekly pay, and more.
