Summary: Seeking a Paint Shop Operator to prepare and finish machined and sheet metal parts, ensuring adherence to thickness and dimension tolerances.
Two years of High School or Trade School education required
Proficiency in using hand and power tools, jigs, masking aids, media blaster, and saws
Ability to read and understand blueprints and process sheets
Experience with precisely masking "keep-out" zones on small assemblies
Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces for painting through cleaning, stripping, abrading, sanding, masking, and stenciling
Unmask and touch up products with paint or enamel as needed
Utilize measurement tools such as scales, micrometers, and calipers
Use PPE including safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection
Perform tasks involving extended periods of sitting while meeting quality and rate goals
Pay Details: $14.00 to $16.00 per hour
