Job Summary
The PACS Administrator manages the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) to ensure seamless operation, maintenance, and accessibility of medical imaging within the healthcare facility. This role supports clinical teams by maintaining system integrity, troubleshooting issues, and upholding high standards for data security and patient privacy. The PACS Administrator collaborates with IT, radiologists, and other stakeholders to optimize system functionality and user satisfaction.

Qualifications
1-2 years of experience in radiologic technology, information systems analysis, or database management requiredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Proficiency in managing, troubleshooting, and configuring PACS hardware and software systems.Strong understanding of medical imaging data management principles, including storage, organization, and retrieval.Knowledge of radiographic technology and applications.Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements, including HIPAA and quality assurance.Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across clinical, technical, and vendor teams.Attention to detail and critical thinking skills to address complex technical and operational issues.Ability to operate independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with diverse teams, including healthcare professionals and external vendors.Capability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.Licenses and Certifications
ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists requiredBCLS - Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire requiredLicensed Radiologic Technologist preferredCertifications in networking and/or database management preferredINDNC
