Position Title: Technician I

Business Title: Packout Technician I

Location: Mason, Ohio

Reports to: Onsite Supervisor

FLSA: Non-Exempt 

 

Hours Worked: Part time as needed Monday through Friday, 1st shift, eighteen hours per week.  However, must be flexible to meet the needs of the department and complete other projects as assigned.

 

Compensation Range: $17 an hour (e.g., the job posting is not necessarily reflective of actual compensation that may be earned, and actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as locations, education, experience, and skillset).

 

Position Summary:

 

The Packout Technician I is responsible for supporting and completing packaging activities in the Process Research Laboratory.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Follow all ATL and client safety guidelines while working and anytime on company property. Lab upkeep, restocking supplies, safe disposal of wastes, cleaning, organizing.  Responsible for filling, weighing, capping/sealing and labeling according to specified requirements.  Safe operation and cleaning of necessary equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures and safety requirements.  Follow Good Manufacturing Practices for operations and documentation. Perform other essential tasks, projects, and responsibilities as required.  Be able and willing to stand to perform some work duties.

Education and Experience:

 

High School Diploma or GED Some industry experience desired but not required.
