**Job Title: Packer**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated Weekend Packer to join our team on a weekend shift from Friday to Sunday, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. You will work 36 hours and get paid for 40 hours. This role involves handling various materials and ensuring accurate packing and weighing processes.
**Responsibilities**
+ Utilize a computer system and manage related documentation.
+ Handle lifting tasks, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
+ Fill liquids and powders into tanks accurately.
+ Use scales to measure liquids and raw materials precisely according to formulas.
+ Operate a forklift to move products across the production floor, if necessary.
+ Select and scan raw materials using a barcode scanner to ensure accuracy in lot numbers and quantities.
+ Stage and add materials to tanks as per work order manufacturing instructions, which may involve forklift operation.
+ Fill and pack orders in accordance with sales orders, ensuring accurate weight and appropriate labeling.
+ Follow Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and safety guidelines diligently.
+ Remain open to cross-training opportunities and assist in different departments as needed.
**Essential Skills**
+ Warehouse operations, loading, and packing expertise.
+ Experience in cleanroom, general labor, and food production environments.
+ Proficiency in weighing and scale operation.
+ Ability to work around chemicals and food-grade materials following GMP standards.
+ Skill in using scales, pumps, valves, and air mixers.
+ Capability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
+ Attention to detail in labeling and packing logs.
+ Comfortable wearing a respirator.
+ Experience in food manufacturing, compounding, material handling, and chemical processes.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ GMP certification.
+ Experience in cleanroom and food manufacturing environments.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NORTHBROOK, IL.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
