Job Description

Packers will work at the end of the production line, where they will package finished materials. They are responsible for loading rolls of finished product into the winder machine, ensuring the machine is stopped at the correct measurements, visually inspecting, labeling, boxing, and then palletizing the rolls.

Responsibilities

Load rolls of finished product into the winder machine.Stop the machine when it reaches the correct measurements.Perform visual inspection of the products.Label and box the finished rolls.Palletize the boxed rolls for distribution.

Essential Skills

Experience in packaging within a production environment.1 year of production operator experience.1 year of visual inspection experience.Ability to lift 30lbs consistently.

Work Environment

Work a 12-hour night shift from 6pm to 6am on a 3-2-2-3 schedule. The environment is a blown extrusion molding facility, characterized by hot and dusty conditions. The machines are three stories high, requiring candidates to be comfortable walking up multiple flights of stairs throughout the day. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $22.50/hr.
