Our client, a leading manufacturing organization in Vancouver, WA, is seeking a Packer to join their dedicated team. As a Packer, you will be an essential part of the production process, supporting the packaging department. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Packer
Location: Vancouver, WA
Pay Range: 3rd: $19/hr
Shift: 3rd Shift: Fri-Sun, every other Thursday-5am-5pm
What's the Job?
Perform a variety of manufacturing functions, rotating tasks every two hours to ensure efficiency and quality. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), safety policies, and quality standards to maintain compliance and safety. Wear proper GMP and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) attire at all times, including shoe covers, gowns, hair restraints, gloves, masks, and safety glasses. Perform cleaning tasks as assigned by supervisors to uphold cleanliness and safety standards. Act as a sorter, bagger, sealer, boxer, and palletizer to support the packaging process and meet production goals.What's Needed?
High school diploma or GED equivalent. Ability to sort, count, and verify product quantities accurately. Ability to complete paperwork precisely and follow written and oral instructions in English. Strong attention to detail and ability to detect flawed products or issues. Capability to perform moderate physical activity, including standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in a light industrial environment.What's in it for me?
