**Position Title:** **Kitting Assembler** **Revision Date: November 1, 2024** **Department:** **Operations** **Job Purpose:** **As a Kitting Assembler, you will follow engineering drawings, work order information, Manufacturing Assembly Procedures, SOPs, and other written and verbal specifications in the manufacturing process. You will also install, modify, move, troubleshoot, repair and dismantle machinery and equipment according to requisition established documentation (e.g., SOPs), layout plans, blueprints or other drawings. You will also perform the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies. This department assembles mechanical units, fabricated parts/components and/or electrical/electronic systems to make sub-assemblies, assemblies or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures and miscellaneous equipment.** ________________________________________________________________________ **IN THIS JOB YOU WILL HAVE:** Assemble, test and rework kits as well as sub-assemblies using blueprints and a MOS or SPP. Maintain a high level of quality during the assembly process. You will also perform regular, in process inspections of your own work and material. Maintain Productivity, scrap and rework standards on each assembly. Become familiar with the Standard work documents related to the assembly specifications, blueprints, parts, part numbers and descriptions becoming proficient at identification of these items. Keep a high level of 5S in the work area, clean and well organized. Return all tools, fixtures, supplies and other equipment to their proper storage areas. Be responsible for Inventory accuracy and control within your assigned section. Follow Kanban and FIFO as well as maintain safe storage of all materials. Work Cross Functionally with other departments including Engineering, Quality and other support staff as needed to improve product quality and production efficiency. **YOU WILL HAVE THESE QUALIFICATIONS:** High School diploma or GED. One year of assembly experience preferred. Computer experience and basic keyboard functions required. Excellent hand-eye coordination (ability to handle both small and large components accurately), excellent dexterity required. Must be able to stand / walk up to 90% of the day. Ability to read and understand assembly drawings, work instructions and specifications. Required familiarity with and the ability to us common hand and power tools. May be required to lift (over 30 pounds). Work with chemicals using proper safety protocols. **US ONLY** **:** The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The compensation range for this role is $20.00 - $20.50 USD per hour. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
