About the role.

The Packaging Operator applies technical knowledge of packaging materials and equipment to set up, operate, and troubleshoot the packaging equipment in a safe and efficient manner according to quality specification sheets, customer satisfaction and company policy.  The Packaging Operator has the authority to place raw or finished product on hold if a quality attribute is not met. 

What you’ll need to be successful.

High school diploma or equivalent3+ years of experience working in manufacturing required, food manufacturing strongly preferredAbility to work independently and with othersAbility to read, comprehend, and communicate in basic English and interact with all levels of the organizationAbility to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formAbility to analyze data and draw logical conclusions with minimal guidanceAbility to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situationsAbility to bend often and lift at least 50 pounds to various heightsAbility to operate Powered Industrial Vehicles (walkie-rider, forklift, etc.)
