Job Description
The Packaging Operator role is integral to producing sweet potato chips fried in avocado oil, ensuring they remain free of the top 9 most common allergens. You will oversee operations such as Alpma machines, brine systems, filling forms, and uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards. This role involves setting up and operating high-speed packaging machines to make chip bags, and conducting minor troubleshooting to identify machine stops or jams and determine maintenance needs.
ResponsibilitiesManage and operate specific machinery in the production line.Follow all safety, sanitation, and production procedures.Ensure accurate record-keeping and quality control.Communicate effectively with team members and management.Essential Skills2+ years of machine operation experience, with GMP preferred.2+ years of high-speed manufacturing experience.Proficiency in filling and packaging machines.Ability to adjust feeds and speeds.Experience in machine changeovers.Basic troubleshooting skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in minor troubleshooting.Knowledge of production processes.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work on the 2nd Shift from 2pm to 10pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime on Saturdays. The facility is clean and temperature-controlled, emitting a pleasant smell reminiscent of French fries. Adherence to GMP guidelines is required, including wearing hair nets, beard nets, smocks, hard hats, and steel-toed shoes.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.50/hr.
