**Job Title: Packaging Lead** **Job Description** As a Packager, you will be responsible for preparing all required components in the filling rooms and finishing areas, maintaining and visually inspecting packaging equipment, cleaning and sanitizing machinery, workstations, and containers, and submitting various checklists, documents, and reports related to Packaging. **Responsibilities** + Prepare and organize all components required in filling rooms and finishing areas. + Maintain and visually inspect packaging equipment to ensure functionality. + Clean and sanitize machinery, workstations, and containers to maintain hygiene standards. + Submit various checklists, documents, and reports related to packaging operations. + Adjust machines and troubleshoot in both Primary and Secondary areas. + Operate machinery such as Bottle Filling, Blister Card, and Powder Filling machinery. + Operate Silica Pouch, Counter, Metal Detector, and Capper in the Primary area. + Operate Bottle Scrambler, Bottle Vision Inspection, Cap Heat Sealer, Coding, Labeler, Checkweigher, Taper, UPC, and Scale in the Secondary area. + Dismantle and reinstall attachments and tooling during changeovers for all packaging equipment. + Assist with maintenance tasks during troubleshooting. + Submit Maintenance Work Order requests. + Perform housekeeping duties within all packaging areas. **Essential Skills** + 3 years of experience as a Machine Operator or in Operator Maintenance. + Develop a strong safety awareness. + Understand instructions and communicate effectively in English. + Operate and understand machine controls. + Work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. + Use common sense to follow detailed instructions, whether written or spoken. + Consistent attendance and reliability. + Collaborate effectively in a team setting while also working well independently. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to stand, walk, carry, climb, twist, bend, grip, and reach regularly. + Respect for others and strong teamwork skills. + Ability to take responsibility at the workstation. + Team player mentality. **Why Work Here?** This position offers a contract-to-hire opportunity, providing stability and growth potential.
