Principal Accountabilities:
Follow all packaging schedules’ and handle all unplanned events.May perform break relief and other coverage as needed.Improve Technical Efficiency (TE) performance by analyzing and improving changeovers and reducing performance loss.Coordinate with the maintenance department, create work orders using SAP and completing daily paperwork and communication logs to reduce downtime on the linesCollect information to prepare shifts reports and escalating concerns in a timely mannerReview and respond appropriately to issues recorded on the tracking boards to avoid rework.Assist with continuous improvement, manager of rework and general activities.Confirm Work Orders in SAP and completing daily paperwork and communication logs.Communicate effectively with supervisors/managers and operatorsCapable to learn basic operations for multiple packaging technologiesCollect out-of-spec Raw Materials for review by supervision and procurement.Effectively coach and document personnel issues to achieve high performance team.Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations(including food safety policies and procedures).Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer.Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility.Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.Basic use of a computerAbility to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodationAbility to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance noticePreferred Qualifications:
