10 hr shift/days

Environmental Conditions

Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed, Laboratory Setting, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)

The Microbiology Division provides solutions and workflow for food, clinical, and pharmaceutical environments. The markets we serve include food manufacturers and labs, clinical and healthcare, pharma, and biotech. We manufacture culture media and other microbiological diagnostic products serving customers in the pharmaceutical, food, and clinical laboratories.

How will you make an impact?

Follow SOP, Work Instruction Docs, and blueprints for production as Packaging \\ Labelling Technician II.

What will you do?

Follow all written procedures. Report discrepancies in procedures (SOP’s, DHR’s, etc.) to the Area Supervisor.Wear Personal Protective Equipment as required. Refer to job-specific Safety Analysis.Perform all work activities in a safe manner. Maintain a safe and clutter-free work area. Clean up all spills immediately.Listen to, follow, and relay written and verbal instructions in English.Report property damage and/or safety hazards to the Supervisor, Human Resources, Safety Specialist, or Senior Management immediately.Document accurately and check personal work for quality and compliance.Efficiently and safely operate assigned machinery. Perform simple maintenance and make necessary adjustments.Maintain a clean and organized work area. This includes all assigned equipment.Accurately dispense required additives to media and accurately perform the technique of getting pH balance as needed.Read, understand, and complete required documentation. All paperwork shall be accurately and neatly completed in accordance with established policies and procedures.Set up and adjust machines to run a variety of sizes and types using tools to adjust the machine.Help to maintain quality assurance in your position at all times.

How will you get here?

EducationMinimum Education Required: High School Diploma or equivalent experience

Experience1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or regulated environment; aseptic experience in a medical device or pharmaceutical environment preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesAbility to push/pull up to 600lb kettles, stand for long periods (around 10 hours a day)Communicate well, both verbally and written in English, and be comfortable performing basic math
