Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed, Loud Noises (Equipment/Machinery), Office, Rapid flashing lights, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), Warehouse

Responsibilities:

Support continuous improvement, ensure quality standards, and optimize production processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Lead technical projects and provide customer and manufacturing support to help deliver innovative solutions

Participate in new product introductions, process improvements, and equipment optimization initiatives.

Use data-driven approaches and lean methodologies to identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain the highest quality standards.

Work closely with operations, quality, maintenance, procurement, and other teams to implement sustainable solutions that drive manufacturing excellence and customer satisfaction.


Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in STEM focus and 2 years of manufacturing engineering experience with packaging focus

Master's degree with STEM focus and at least an internship with packaging focus

Relevant technical certifications or apprenticeships are valued

Other Experience Needed:

Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologiesExperience with engineering documentation, specifications, and change control processesExperience with automation, controls, and process validation preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Strong knowledge of ISTA, ASTM, ISO packaging standardsFamiliar with GMP, ISO standards, and regulatory requirementsProficient in statistical analysis, root cause investigation, and problem-solving techniquesStrong project management abilities and experience leading cross-functional initiativesExpertise with CAD software, manufacturing systems, and data analysis toolsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work in cleanroom environments and comply with required PPE/gowning proceduresAvailable to work flexible hours and provide on-call support as neededProficiency with Microsoft Office suite and manufacturing software systemsKnowledge of equipment qualification and calibration processesStrong analytical and troubleshooting capabilitiesAbility to mentor and train manufacturing personnelMust be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs with assistance
