Key Responsibilities:\nDevelop and refine packaging solutions for a wide range of automotive components, including fragile, bulky, heavy, and irregular shapes.\nStandardize packaging to optimize palletization, warehouse utilization, and freight efficiency.\nSelect appropriate packaging materials (corrugate, plastics, foams, engineered dunnage, steel racks, returnable containers).\nCreate and maintain packaging specifications, drawings, BOMs, and documentation.\nEnsure packaging methods integrate smoothly with warehouse processes and material-handling equipment.\nSupport outbound, kitting, repacking, and rework operations with clear packaging instructions, SOPs, and visual aids.\nTrain warehouse staff on correct packaging procedures and material usage.\nLead continuous improvement initiatives related to packaging flow, labor efficiency, and cost reduction.\nServe as the primary contact for packaging-related customer complaints or shipping damage concerns.\nInvestigate issues by reviewing packaging methods, materials, warehouse handling processes, and supplier contributions.\nPrepare, document, and present CAPA reports to address root causes and implement corrective/preventive actions.\nTrack complaint trends and implement long-term improvements to reduce recurrence.\nConduct qualification audits of packaging suppliers and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards and capacity requirements.\nAssess supplier materials, processes, consistency, and documentation practices.\nSupport root-cause investigations related to packaging quality or shipping damage.\nQualifications & Requirements :

Requirement:

\n\nBachelor's degree in product designing, packaging or related engineering fields.\nMinimum 2-3 years of experience in industrial or consumer packaging. Knowledge and understanding of packaging design validation standards (ISO, ASTM, etc.), drafting and specification standards is essential.\nStrong knowledge of packaging technology, materials and design principles with knowledge of testing methods, regulations and standards for packaging especially in logistic / supply chain industry\nMust be able to work in Port Klang Free Zone, Pulau Indah.\n
