Design and oversee efficient, cost-effective packaging solutions that meet regulatory standards while supporting cross-functional operations across multiple locations.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Packaging Engineering

5+ years of packaging engineering experience

CAD experience (any platform)

Ability to travel as needed

Preferred Skills:

Experience with packaging material cost optimization

Familiarity with packaging performance testing methods

Knowledge of regulatory and environmental packaging compliance

Experience in process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives

Background in supplier quality and audit support

Understanding of supply chain and logistics for packaging material flow

Job Responsibilities:

Design packaging using CAD based on product specifications and shipping conditions

Select appropriate materials including cardboard, plastic, and metal

Conduct drop, vibration, and environmental condition tests on packaging

Optimize packaging to reduce costs and eliminate waste

Collaborate with project management, IT, and supply chain to implement new labeling and packaging systems

Ensure all packaging solutions comply with industry regulations and customer requirements

Lead packaging process improvements and continuous improvement projects

Support audits and corrective actions related to packaging supplier performance

Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
