Packaging Designer
Job Title: Packaging Designer
Job Description

Join a passionate team focused on the design and development of packaging for Data Center Liquid cooling products, industrial air-conditioners, and electrical systems. You will be responsible for creating designs and documentation for new and existing product packaging by developing 3D models, drawings, bills of materials (BOM), and other documentation to fully define purchasing and manufacturing specifications.

ResponsibilitiesCollaborate directly with Packaging Engineers and multi-functional teams including Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply, and Customer Support.Assist in the testing of packaging solutions in the on-site testing lab.Initiate and prepare Engineering Change Order (ECO) documentation, including drawings and BOMs.Essential SkillsProficiency in SolidWorks for 3D CAD modeling.Experience in packaging design and mechanical design.Ability to create and manage bills of materials.Additional Skills & QualificationsA two-year technical degree is preferred.1+ years of experience in CAD design and documentation of components and assemblies is preferred.Artios CAD experience is a plus.Knowledge of drafting standards.Experience with ENOVIA PLM system/BOM is beneficial.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
