Job Title: Packaging Coordinator
Location: Omaha
Report to: Purchasing Supervisor
Essential Job Functions:
Coordinates material offloading with shipping to ensure daily production supplies are availableConducts weekly physical inventory of packaging materials located within the plant to be compared with SAP inventoryAdvises purchasing on material shortages or unusual usagesreconciling and troubleshooting packaging inventory on a daily basis, performing data entry, and issuing packaging supply items from the store room. Follows the exchange program for personnel items, maintaining supply logs, conducting cycle and inventory counts, and insuring security measures are followed. Meet with supervisors on packaging needs.
Experience Required:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent, preferred but not required
Skills/Abilities Required:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience in SAP preferred Must be able to work flexible hours including some Saturdays and SundaysStrong verbal and written communication skillsGood organizational skills
