**Job Title: Packaging Associate** **Job Description** As a Packaging Associate, you will play an integral role in the process of bagging certified 100% organic whole food mushroom powder. The role involves lifting 20-50 lbs, building boxes, labeling, wrapping, and filling small to medium-sized pouches. You will also be responsible for filling boxes with labeled and sealed pouches, performing product and box inspections before shipment, and assisting with paperwork, tracking counts, and orders. **Responsibilities** + Assist in the process of bagging certified 100% organic whole food mushroom powder. + Build boxes, label and wrap products. + Fill small to medium-sized pouches of mushroom powder. + Fill boxes with labeled and sealed pouches following work orders and prepare completed boxes for shipment. + Perform inspection of products and boxes before shipment. + Assist in paperwork processes, tracking counts, and orders. **Essential Skills** + Ability to lift 20-50 lbs. + Experience with GMP, production line, and food production. + Packaging, labeling, and general production skills. + Machine operation and packing skills. + Ability to cross-train and learn quickly. + Good attitude and general labor skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 3-6 months of production experience preferred but open to entry-level candidates. + Ability to lift 20 lbs+, occasionally up to 50 lbs but not repetitive. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vista, CA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
