Packaging Line Operator
Job Description
Join our team as a Packager on the Swing Shift from 2pm to 10:30pm, Monday through Friday, where you will play a vital role in the packaging and production process. You will ensure quality and efficiency in our operations.
Responsibilities
Feed materials into equipment and ensure smooth operation.Pack, label, and palletize products according to specifications.Operate banding/wrapping and Packsize equipment.Inspect cartons to ensure only quality products are packed.Prepare cases, layer boards, and labels for various jobs.Check job tickets or spec books for pallet configurations.Stack cartons on pallets, ensuring correct labels and alignment.Stretch wrap pallets and prepare them for shipping.Scan finished goods and input data into computer systems.Restock materials for upcoming shifts, including lids and corrugated stock.Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area.Conduct quality audits and sorting operations as required.Essential Skills
Experience in packaging, production, assembly, and labeling.Proficiency in palletizing and operating pallet jacks and forklifts.Ability to lift up to 15 lbs constantly and up to 40 lbs occasionally.Capability to stand and walk around machines throughout the day.Proficiency in reading, writing, and counting in English.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment
The role is based in a very clean and organized manufacturing plant located in NE Portland off Sandy Blvd. You will work a swing shift from 2pm to 10:30pm, Monday through Friday, in a facility that prioritizes safety and efficiency.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vancouver, WA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
