Your ability to accelerate impact and make meaningful change for your clients is enabled by our strategic partner ecosystem and our robust technology platforms across the IBM portfolio **Your role and responsibilities** Job Summary The SAP FICO Consultant is responsible for the configuration, design, implementation, and support of the SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in business process analysis, system configuration, and end-user training and support. ------------------------- Key Responsibilities * Analyze and understand business requirements related to finance and controlling processes. * Design, configure, test, and implement SAP FI/CO solutions (GL, AP, AR, AA, CO-OM, CO-PC, CO-PA, etc.). * Perform gap analysis and create functional specifications for custom developments. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD, HCM). * Support period-end closing activities and troubleshoot financial issues. * Work closely with end-users and provide training and documentation. * Assist with SAP upgrades, migrations, and new implementations (S/4HANA preferred). * Participate in internal and external audits by providing required data and reports. ------------------------- **Required technical and professional expertise** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. * Minimum 5 years of hands-on SAP FICO experience. * Strong knowledge of business processes in finance and controlling. * Experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly preferred. * Familiarity with integration points with MM, SD, and HR modules. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. * Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. **Preferred technical and professional experience** N/A IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
