**Responsibilities**
Ascension St. Agnes is looking for a OB/GYN Physician Assistant for our team!
This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension St. Agnes Hospital to provide medical services to patients.
**Position Highlights:**
+ Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 3 months of hire.
+ DEA and CDS required to start
+ PA will be expected to work the holidays that fall on their weekends. They will be paid 1.5xbase rate for holidays worked
+ Weekend night shift will be paid at 1.5x base rate other nights shifts worked will be paid at base rate
**Responsibilities:**
Provide direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services under the supervision
of a physician.
+ Obtain patient history and perform assessment.
+ Order, perform and interpret diagnostic procedures.
+ Provide and document direct treatment and management of health conditions.
+ Provide counseling and education of patient and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources.
+ Perform preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and care.
**Requirements**
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
+ BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted required. Verified by local credentialing office.
+ Physician Assistant credentialed from the Maryland Board of Physicians obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Verified by local Credentialing Office
+ Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted preferred. Verified by local credentialing office.
Education:
+ Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program. Master's degree preferred.
Work Experience:
+ 1 year of experience preferred.
