**Position Purpose:**
Support the accounts payable cycle for all customs agents in the Central America region. This includes processing incoming documentation, preparing invoices for accurate booking, and proactively tracking payments to ensure timely settlement.
**Let’s talk about main responsibilities:**
**Accounts Payable & Customs Management:**
+ Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process for customs broker charges, ensuring timely and accurate payment of import taxes and related service fees.
+ Analyze accounts payable aging reports to identify discrepancies and develop targeted action plans for clearing outstanding balances .
+ Collaborate directly with the transportation department and customs agents to reconcile accounts and resolve payment inquiries swiftly.
+ Ensure prompt booking of pending invoices by proactively following up with local teams.
+ Process and book all travel-related invoices in accordance with company policy.
+ Guarantee adherence to all SOX, internal, and external audit requirements by providing necessary documentation and support.
+ Champion and support efficiency initiatives aimed at optimizing and streamlining accounts payable and claims-related workflows.
+ Uphold all corporate policies and standards in every aspect of the role. **Insurance Claims & Policy Administration**
+ Oversee the entire insurance claims lifecycle, from filing and documentation to consistent follow-up and successful collection.
+ Serve as the primary liaison with insurance representatives, fostering direct communication to accelerate claim resolution and payment.
+ Support the annual renewal process for corporate insurance policies. **Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration OR in Public Accounting, OR Engineering OR related
+ Intermediate English **Preferred Qualifications**
+ Google tools knowledge and SAP Management
+ Knowledge of accounting processes and internal control
+ Financial analysis capacity
